The three main AutoWin materials
1. Premium Eco-Leather (bestseller)
High-quality synthetic leather made from polyurethane over a recycled textile backing. Used in the same grade on the interiors of many modern Porsche, Audi and BMW models.
Best for: daily drivers who want a premium look, easy cleaning, and long-term durability.
- Feel: soft, warm, slightly matte
- Cleaning: wipe with a damp cloth
- Durability: 7–10 years typical interior use
- Climate: performs well in –20°C to +60°C
- Water resistance: fully water-repellent
2. Classic Leatherette
A firmer, more textured synthetic leather with a visible weave. Matches the OEM look in many European and Japanese interiors.
Best for: OEM-style restorations and classic interiors.
- Feel: firm, grained
- Cleaning: damp cloth or mild interior cleaner
- Durability: 5–8 years
- Climate: good in –15°C to +55°C
3. Luxury Velour
Thick woven velour with a dense pile and leatherette trim. The most premium look — used in Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Mercedes-Maybach OEM mats.
Best for: luxury vehicles, show cars, occasional-use weekend cars.
- Feel: plush, soft underfoot
- Cleaning: vacuum first, then spot-clean with interior foam
- Durability: 4–7 years depending on traffic
- Climate: indoor / dry-climate use recommended

Choosing by use case
Live somewhere with snow or heavy rain?
Go with eco-leather. Water beads on the surface and wipes away — you avoid the long drying times of velour.
Have kids or pets?
Eco-leather again — it resists crumbs, pet hair and the occasional spill. Velour is beautiful but a magnet for hair.
Restoring a classic?
Match the original material: leatherette for 80s–2000s European interiors, velour for luxury interiors of any era.
